The rapid introduction of new and complex techniques makes training a critical part of an interventional cardiologist’s life.As a result, the American College of Cardiology requested that Moceri Management develop a training program for physicians and fellows attending i2 Summit 2007: Innovation in Intervention that would advocate quality cardiovascular care through education in a hands-on environment.
In 2003, Intervention200X ® was created to refocus interventional cardiology on sound science and objective education in the United States. A group of senior interventional cardiologists from both academic and private practice arenas collaborated to build an educational forum inclusive of a variety of opinions which allowed practice leaders to network and interact with colleagues in a substantive educational setting.
