GENERAL INFORMATION

SIF2010, held February 11-13, 2010 in Scottsdale, Arizona, strives to provide comprehensive knowledge of the leading trends and best practices in cardiovascular disease therapies for cardiologists, industry professionals, nurses, technologists and other health professionals with specific interest in interventional cardiology.

Objectives

At the conclusion of the course, participants should be better able to:

  • Identify new diagnostic and therapeutic interventional technologies for the treatment of patients with complex coronary artery disease
  • List novel pharmacological therapies for the treatment of patients with coronary artery disease before, during and following coronary intervention  
  • Explain the results of recently published clinical trials
  • Describe the short and long term benefits of percutaneous and surgical revascularization modalities in patients with multivessel and complex coronary artery disease
  • Report recent advances in heart and vascular imaging including CT, MRI, near infrared spectroscopy and sonographic modalities
