GENERAL INFORMATION
The fourth annual Scottsdale Interventional Forum will deliver innovative interventional material in a fun, casual atmosphere in the heart of the Sonoran Desert.

The Scottsdale Interventional Forum has been designed to update participants on the latest techniques being utilized in advanced coronary, vascular and cardiac intervention. The SIF’s vision includes the following objectives:
- Define those unresolved issues in percutaneous and surgical intervention of coronary artery disease.
- Develop a practical understanding of newer treatment strategies applied to the most complex coronary lesion subsets, including left main disease, bifurcations, chronic total occlusions and acute myocardial infarction.
- Formulate a practical understanding of those modalities utilized in the detection of vulnerable plaque.
- Explain the role of newer imaging technologies which include MRI, MRA and CT angiography in the diagnosis and management of heart and blood vessel disease.
- Illustrate the emerging technologies used to treat structural heart disease including valvular disorders and congenital abnormalities.
- Understand and apply advanced strategies for surveillance, diagnosis and management of carotid and peripheral arterial disease.
- Analyze the relevant issues in the diagnosis and treatment of acute myocardial infarction, including emerging technologies for myocardial salvage, emerging pharmacologic strategies and the role of biomarkers.
This course is specifically designed for interventional cardiologists and other medical professionals with an interest in interventional cardiology. It has been designed to update participants on the latest techniques in advanced coronary, vascular and cardiac intervention.
